Well yes and no. Trip was invited but couldn't go so he sent one of his officers instead. Hang in there and you will see a review soon enough.

I wonder if it is the same guy on Delphi... Mark? Just found out from Mark it is Todd.

No, it has nothing to do with Delphi.

Did Mark already get his done? I dont want to read the other guys until mine is finished just so I dont chance having their's influence mine.

I should have mine up today or tomorrow on here....I will just say I might have found my next bike ;) ;) ;)

C'mon Todd, don't keep us in suspense! I love the look of the bike, just wondering what it's like to ride.

Can't wait to see the bike at the Calgary motorcycle show in January.

I got my first look at the new Vaquero today at the Seattle International Motorcycle Show. I have to admit....I was bit underwhelmed. I looked at it....sat on it....and it is for sure a nice bike, but it didn't blow me away. I do like that they went back to the old bag style though. I just wish Kawi would quit trying to copy HD and do more of their own thing. JMHO.

They also had some of the new Nomads and Voyagers there as well. I kind of feel the same about the Voyagers as I do the Vaquero, but they had a 2011 Nomad there with a trunk, all kinds of bling, heated seats w/driver's backrest, side bag rails and the like that I could have ridden right out of the building if I thought I could get away with it...it was really nice! Too bad I didn't take a photo of that one!

Honestly, I think that black one is what the new Nomad should have been. I like the red color better though.

I would have liked to have seen the Nomad. If someone is going to the show, it would be great to have a picture of that Nomad. Thanks.

After Riding the Voyager and Ultra I have to agree, but the Voyager is a better value.

Originally, the Vulcan Classic was supposed to be something original, not a HD copy. John Hoover was largely responsible for this and he left Kawasaki in 2004 I believe. Whatever has happened since then obviously is a deviation of building an original bike. The V2K should have been a clue. It looks like an oversized Evo.

Whatever marketing tools Kawasaki used, I haven't a clue as I've never been in their focus groups and I don't know anyone who has. It'd be interesting to learn how they come up with their ideas, designs etc.

I'll be at the show next weekend, Loafer. I'll get one for ya if I don't forget.

Another Amen. Kaw obviously has the where-with-all to build a superior machine, but, IMHO, they have an identity problem. Waffling on models, and copying HD, are not ways to build consumer confidence, and brand loyalty.

Kaw needs to pick a direction, create an identity, and be original....
