I have stock seats and my wife and I are OK with that.
She used to say the vibration in the backrest was irritating.
Then I put rubber washers between the backrest and sissy bar.
That worked well until I installed the Vance and Hines mufflers.
Now she says the vibration is back.

Has anyone used a Mustang backrest?
Does is it reduce road vibration?

Thanks,
Scott M. Kelm

I have it but I'm not sure it reduces the vibration. My wife likes how high it comes up on her back and is the main reason i bought it, but my daughter said it vibrated more when it first went on. She doesnt say that anymore so she must have gotten used to it The Mustang foam is much denser than the stock pad.

I have one and my wife likes it. The Mustang is higher, better foam and gives more support to her back. Wife has never complained about vibration. I bought one after a buddy put one on his Nomad for his wife. He has V&H pipes and his wife loves the backrest.
