No, I think you need to tell us about it.

I am going to have the opportunity to ride and test one in a couple weeks and will be doing a write up on it. I am really looking forward to it...Looks like a great bike!

Has anyone seen the Vaquero at the International M/C shows.

I just did this past weekend. They had about 5 of them - one was red, the others were black. One of the black ones had many of the accessories added (spot lights, chrome rails, sissy bar, etc.). Still feels a bit cramped, like the new Voyager and Nomad, compared to my '02.

I for one like it a lot. It's basically what I would do to my Nomad. The bags started out like ours, but they have little differences, so they must have tweaked the molds.

Not yet, but I'm looking forward to reading some honest reviews.

Scott, that looks very good! I like the look and did a similar thing soon after buying the Nomad and before the trunk came around to being. Way before the fairing. If I had a year round riding season like yours [and I might someday soon} I might remove the tour pak during the year. I would go one step further next time {if there is a next time} and remove the rear seat and make it solo.

I sat on one at the International MC show with the gel seat option.... that seat makes all the difference in the world, took away the cramped feeling for me..... made it a nice bike

I'm hoping to get a look here in a couple weeks when the International show comes to Seattle!

I think it is a cool looking bike, but it is all cosmetic. It still has the frame and motor of the 1700, which hasn't really won a strong following in any of it's forms. Kawasaki listened about the bags. Shame they didn't redo these other components too.

I tried the '09 1700 Nomad, if the Vaquero is similar I might like it just fine. ;)
