Have you ever looked at a photo of a particular motorcycle and wondered how well you would fit? Sometimes the bike is a nightmare when you actually try to fit yourself to the proportions of the seat, bars and foot pegs. An interesting site Cycle-ergo.com (http://cycle-ergo.com/) has a variety of motorcycles listed and gives a graphic interpretation of riding or feet on the ground positions. Such things as height, inseam, arm angle, riser pull back, etc., can be modified to give an idea what is needed for the perfect ride.

I clicked on their request button and asked for the older Nomads to be added. The present selection is the newer 1700s. Looking at the forward lean and knee bend angles for some of the other manufacturers, I wouldn't last on a long ride. The Nomad fits me and is comfortable.

This would be me on the 2011 Voyager. (5'-6" with 30" inseam)

Thanks for posting that site. It's very interesting. I'm 6' but only have a 30" inseam so getting comfortable on a bike is difficult. It's nice that the program allows you to add your risers to it.

One reality, one possibility:

It tried it on the Voyager and it looks like it would fit me pretty well. I'm very satisfied with the Nomad though. Thanks for posting the link.

Me too, but it hasn't had an impact on my riding yet, although I don't ride a sport bike.

That's true and it makes a difference. I have big feet and I found the Ultra floorboards ridiculous, not to mention the switch gear. Now it would be fine if I had size 10s, but I don't. The Nomad was fine, although I probably could have trimmed the foot brake pedal a bit.
