Don't know if this has been posted before (did a search on burnout and couldn't see it) but thought this was worth sharing:

I didn't think that a bike of the Nomad's size and weight would be able to smoke the back tire this much!

That was the last day on that tire. It's tradition for me to smoke off the last remaining miles, and the Nomad does it with ease! I was holding the bike with one hand and using my left hand to shift.
My wife rolls her eyes, but I say smoke it!

And when I saw the topic I thought we were talking about a person being tired of a Nomad. I should have known better. Awesome Jay.

How do you get the front brake/tire to hold? When I've done it I need to have the front tire against something solid. Otherwise it just pushed forward even when I'm out of the seat and pushing down on the handlebars. ???

Once the rear tire breaks loose, not much effort should be required to hold it in place.

I went to see my bro-in-laws new HD. He wasn't home, so I put the garage door up, and there it was, key in it as well. So I brought the Nad in and did a burnout plus a stripe. I then left him a note that I was surprised the HD could do a burnout that good. He doesn't trust me any more.

Oh cool...I've watched that on you tube before...did not realize it was you. I don't think I could hold onto my Nomad...think I would be going across the parking lot. http://s2.images.proboards.com/tongue.gif

I have watched that a few times and never made the connection. And for some reason this time was the first time I noticed the cool 1960 Chevy in the background.
