Friend of mine here in east Idaho just bought one of those. He traded up from a Suzi C50. Got a pearl white one. Nice ride.

I test rode a 2010 Cross Country last June. It will be my next bike.
Very spacious, fast and nice styling. Good luck and keep us posted.

I'm not ready to buy a new bike yet
BUT
I had been checking out the Cross Country, sizing it up for my next ride. ::)
THEN
Kawasaki introduced the Vaquero and brought me back to my senses. Viva Vaquero! http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif
I still don't know when I'll <s>be allowed to</s> get one, but now I feel better.

She says it would definitely be the latter. :-/ So I'll think about it . . .
Anya says I can get another bike after 3 other things:
1: A house
-CHECK. We just bought a house this summer.
2: A black SUV
- She graduates with her master's this spring. So this will come with her new job. *fingers crossed*
3: at least 1 child

A good friend of mine just bought a Victory Vision and really loves it. I assume they are somewhat similar but I'm sure that you'll be very happy with it...... and you're always welcome here anyway, you don't need to leave just because you are a traitor. ;-) J/K. Enjoy it, looks like a fun bike.

MCN did a weird comparo between the Roadglide Utra and the Victory CC. Read it yesterday, the Vic did well but the HD was chosen to be better.
As a Victory owner I can tell you that you will love this bike. Congrats. Victory and Kawasaki are the best bikes going in my opinion. That's why I have one of each, lol.

Congratulations on your new ride. They are really sharp bikes. What are you going to do with your Nomad? Or, have you already done something with it?
Congrats on the new Victory. Let us know what you think of it after a few miles.

Had the chance to sit on one last night at our Local Goldwing end of season-Xmas party.
Looks like a really sweet ride. First impression is that everything as far as rider position seems to be in the right place and seems lighter then the nomad.
They are having demo rides in early May 2011, guess I`ll have to go this one.

No reason to say goodbye. I surely won't. It's not just the bikes that keep me coming here, but more so the people. They are a great bunch and no matter what I ride, I will always want to be part of KawaNOW.

Well I picked it up Friday @ 1:00 pm and by Sunday evening I had 420 miles on it. After test riding one at the dealer before buying I came back and told the owner it did not have more power than my Nomad. Well I was wrong the XC will fly. It is missing some low end grunt but it makes up for it in the 2000 rpm and up range, the throttle roll on is amazing. I think it will eat any cruiser you go after except my buddies M109R Suzuki. I could drag the crap out of the nads boards and I have read that many drag the XC's boards but I have not found them yet and I am trying. Cornering and turning are superb, the Nomad was kinda like a big bruiser you had to tell it what to do in the turns and the Vic is like OK is that all you want I have more. I am a big guy 250lbs and the seat works as good or better than my Mustang on the Nomad as far as comfort on the long ride. The stereo is speed controlled faster louder slower softer, the cruise control works just like my GMC truck 1 mile per hour increments for adjustment and it holds speed on every hill I have tried it on. Sixth gear 70mph is around 2400 rpm and throttle roll on from there is quick. The hard bags are bigger and will hold more, I do like the side load bag for finding things, I organized my bags with all of the stuff out of the Nomad last night and it fits with room to spare but I will have to dig to get things. I will need to replace the blade windshield, it is just like riding with out one, they make a +3 with a flip that is supposed to work with the tallest of people. Overall I love the new bike, the fairing and the hardbag looks get a lot of comments. The first time I saw one was at the International Motorcycle Show last year and I sat on one and it fit like a glove, so 1 1/2 years later temptation got the best of me, I traded the nad in, got a fair deal and own a new XC Pearl White / Vogue Silver.
Thanks for the offers to stick around, I really enjoy the board and I am not cutting the KawNOW patch off of my vest.
