Thanks I'll take a good look at that. although most stations here seem to add ethanol.
I just filled my 2 gallon outboard motor tank with premium gas earlier today and it cost $12.00. I hope its worth it.

Three stations in the entire state of AZ, and the closest is 100 miles away.

That would make a nice ride, 1/2 a tank each way. ;)

It isn't a complete list Scott. I live in Boaz, AL and Albertville is the next town only five miles away. They list one station in Albertville and none in Boaz. I know of an Exxon in Albertville and also another Conoco. Here in Boaz we have a Pure station. I will have to do a little adding to the list. Good list though and it does offer you the option of adding stations.

I realize that Gene. I would bet there aren't any non-ethanol stations in the metro area, though.

That is probably correct Scott. It is getting harder and harder to find any that sell ethanol free. Just another example of things being forced on us whether we want it or not.

24 stations in NY State and not one near me. Most are in the southern part of the state.
Tell me again why we would prefer to run ethanol-free gasoline in our bikes ???

Only one in NH. Burn up half a tank getting there and half a tank getting home. Worth remembering if I'm in that neck of the woods ;)

you can just remove the ethanol if you really want pure gas

Coming from the Midwest where virtually all gas stations have a 10% ethanol mix I was surprised at the number of gas stations in the Las Vegas area that sell gas without ethanol. There are only two stations in the whole State of Nevada on the list. When I get a chance I will add half a dozen more.
Also, besides all of the mechanical problems that can occur with a 10% ethanol mix, it also decreases gas mileage 3%. Doesn't sound like much but it's the difference between 40 MPG and 41.2 MPG. http://s2.images.proboards.com/angry.gif:(" title=">:(" border="0"/>

What problems do you refer to?
I've ran it for years now and never had an issue with it.

No problems at the 10% level aside from the decreased mpg, but. . . the government wants to start pushing it up to higher levels. At a certain point it will start to eat seals, etc. That's why you need a "Flex-fuel" rated vehicle to run the E85 fuel.

All the new vehicles have ethanol safe hoses and seals. Remember when it first started and boats were catching fire because the fuel hoses started leaking from the ethanol. it's the fuel mixture that need to be right for e85 lots of conversion kits to switch over to e85 some let you run gas or e85

Nice! There is one right around the corner from my house that I never go to. I guess now I will. :)

If you have antiques the ethanol has a habit of eating the rubber items in the fuel system. I have 1955 Buick that now has an electric fuel pump to prove it.

I found that site last spring and tried using it on 11,000 miles of riding. Frankly, it's as useful as tits on a boar hog (that's a pig not a MC). Many, many stations with no ethanol not on it and some that are are now selling corn gas. :(

I'm convinced it's their best offort to force old vehicles off the roads, and has nothing to do with ethanol's supposed worth.
Currently ethanol takes more $$ and energy to produce than it creates. Production is all government subsidized, so we're paying for it at the pump, in vehicle ineffeciencies and repair bills, AND in our taxes.
I'm sure glad tomorrow is election day.

If you run 10% Ethanol gas in small engines like lawnmowers and weedeaters it wont take like to ruin the fuel system. Dont ask me how I know. I bought a new Honda mower from Home Depot with 3 yr warranty. 6 mo later it wouldn't idle correctly only pulsated up/down. Took it in and had a have a new carb which is NOT covered by any brands warranty now. Cost me like $67. he said to start running Star-tron or the new improved Stabil or I would be back again soon. he said they are seeing hundreds like this for fuel issues. Fed gov't just approved 15% folks which will be coming out in a yr or so to a station near you he said. This is a John Deere dealer.

I live close to the NH one myself. Its around 50 miles one way to Belmont. Gas up and tote a 1 gallon jug to top off for winta' storage. I probably will. No dammned eth to collect water for the next 6 months.
