Custom Seats

For those with a custom seat. Seeing that they are somewhat expensive, do any of you use some sort of security screw? I wonder if anyone has had their seat stolen from their bike?

Those day long saddles at over $1,000 scare me to get one for that same reason Dave. I'd at least change the screws to the security torx bit style. that would slow down a passerby quick drug fix lift off!

Never heard of a seat being stolen but that doesn't mean it hasn't happened. If I had that kind of money invested I would try to secure it somehow.

I think anyone wanting to go to the trouble of stealing a seat would probably take the whole bike, three guys could load it into a truck pretty quickly.
