View Full Version : Help re pictures in my Profile

Hi Guys ;HELP! Im trying to post a couple of pictures in my profile but I do not understand the terminology of URL & HTTP . I keep my pictures saved in my documents, and usually add them to my profile as an attachment quite easily. Are there any computer wizards out there that can guide me through this procedure in plain easy to understand english.

Can't post a pic just from your computer. have to use a off site storage place like photobucket, etc and then you can use your pics.

Go to photobucket.com and set up a free account. Hit the browse button on the site to upload the pic you want from your computer. once you have the pic uploaded on photobucket You have the option to resize it (for instance the avatar size) click "IMG CODE" under the photo (it will automatically copy) then paste it either in a forum thread or as your signature.

If you can't get Photobucket working, email the pic to me and I'll put it on the Kawanow web server and set it up for you.

Hmmm...wonder why??? ..LOL. I'll be glad to place pics on the web server for ya Nico, but.....no nudes or even partially clad pics. The guy that owns and admins the server won't allow it. You can also use Yahoo's new photo website Flickr. They don't discriminate like photobucket. You can put any type of photo on their site....something to think about Nico.
