Put this post in the Western Canadian board but I thought I'd double it up here as well.
Trailer was dropped off today, so I greased the hubs, re&re all the tire lug nuts and applied never seize and retourqed, shortened the hitch chains slightly then gave her a good coat of wax for storage. Still waiting on my Hopkins wire harness.

Nice trailer! Princess Auto sells converters as well, I think they're about $12.00 if you don't want to wait.

Same trailer I have. Did you use the grease fitting between the inner and outer bearings? I pumped mine until I could see the grease oozing from the outer bearing. I've picked up new bearings but not seals. When I find the new seals I'll pull the bearings, clean them up and hand pack them. Will be less messy if I ever have to change a bad bearing on the roadside.

Voyager,
If you don't mind could you be more specific about which light.
What part number are the ones you have?
Thanks

Ok. The reason I ask is that the only ones that say "mini" have clear
lenses and yours appear to be red.
I guess they have changed since you got yours.
Thanks

Ya, I found that too. You could go with the larger version and they might look even better. I was too cheap, so I went with the minis.

True but Bronco vs Nomad for a road trip, is going to be a lopsided vote on this board.

True. But, I either pare everything down and take the Nomad or grudgingly take the Bronco. Have not yet figured out how to tow my coleman camp trailer, pack my canoe and carry my kickboat on the Nomad. I have figured out how to make great fly fishing trips with it though. When I make my trips back home to Ohio I take the Nomad and one T-bag.
To each his own I guess. The Nomad on a trailer or towing a trailer is just not part of my psyche.

But your not riding two up, and one of them being a wife that loves to shop along the way. ;)

You did one thing I would never do... That so called "Safety Chain" could get you killed!
I've been pulling trailers with my bikes for many a year and if it were to come unhooked then I'd rather let it go. (That's why I carry insurance) If not it WILL drag you down!
I padlock every trailer I own, that way there is no reason it could come off.
I had the police stop me once and after he saw the hitch was locked down then he had no problem with the way I did it.
99% of people just flip the top down on the hitch thinking it will stay... not always....

But better it drag you down than to have that trailer come across a lane and hit me!

Interesting. I never thought of it, but not having a chain makes a lot sense on a motorcycle.

No choice here in Canada, road regulations. You'll get a ticket for sure without the safety chains in place.
