View Full Version : Custom speedo faces?

08-27-2007, 10:33 AM
I have not mentioned this here becasue I'm new and i wanted to make sure that this is place I want to hang out for awhile and it is ;). So with that said I wanted to let you nomad owners know that i have a custom speedo plate business. Our Nomads are one of the most easiest dials to take part and install my product.

www.custombikerstuff.com (http://www.custombikerstuff.com)

Now remember it's mod and it will not look stock nor light up in stock manner at night. More clearish at night if that makes sense. but very bright though. Here is what I have on my bike below. if you click the link above you will see all the dial faces we have done. sorry for the bad pic but had to shoot this fast...

Ahhh... so you're a vender and have tricked us into liking you.......... and THEN you make your pitch....... very tricky VC!!!!

No prob...... one custom speedo plate to each of the KawaNOW hierarchy should clear up the mess!!! lol

They look pretty cool VC~ ;)

It's too bad the speedometer error couldn't be fixed this way. Say instead of 0 to 140 have it read 0 to 130 so 65 is straight up. that would put most of us almost dead on! It was asked in other forums "Team Lopez" I believe, and it couldn't be done. A lot cheaper than a speedohealer! the faces do look awesome however!

Our dial faces will work on any model that looks like my 06 dial. We used mine off my 06 nomad to make the template. We say 06 to cover our ass's but they have been put on 04, 05, 06, 07, etc.

The range from $39.95 to $49.95. They are easy to install for Nomads see the PDF file on our site on how it's done. They do light up at night no problem just not the same as the OEM stock do.

Going back to BD's question... why couldn't it be made offset 5mph counterclockwise?

08-27-2007, 04:56 PM
OK between you and I we can fix the speedo error but it's a big pain in the ass so thats why we dont offer that but if I know that lets say we had a small run i could have my artist move the tick over by about 3 to 4 MPH and that way you would read just about right give or take 1 or 2 MPH difference. But dont tell anyone I said that. ;) http://s2.images.proboards.com/lipsrsealed.gif http://s2.images.proboards.com/lipsrsealed.gif

See VC I wasn't sure how the design was done. I just though that if you kept the same needle movement that you had at 0 to 140 and made it 0 to 130 with 130 being where the 140 used to be then the spacing would be perfect! I didn't know weather or not the design was CAD CAM or not as this would be very easy to do if it was. thanks for the info...mucho appreciado....

#1) The 50mph line should come out behind her....

#2) These won't work on my ''99 model anyway, will they?
