backrest

hello everyone.looking for advice on driver backrests.
what is everyone using and how do you like them.
i have an 02 with the stock seat..............thanks

I have a Grasshopper and love it. The only thing I don't like about is it doesn't tilt like some, and being relatively short, it makes getting on the bike a little more difficult. But I wouldn't be without it.

Grasshopper. Comfortable and easy to remove for the short errands around town.

If you have any desire to get an aftermarket seat, I'd suggest buying one with a rider backrest. If not, then you have a few options. The grasshopper is one of them, there are a couple of others.

I have the Utopia and love it. Very adjustable, up, down, forward, rearward and it's easy to install.

I have an 02 as well and I use a Custom World Intl. backrest. it done me well over the years.

i have a CWI (I think) backrest that I am not using that I could sell you.....I can post picture but it will be this weekend.....I took it off because a got a Mustang seat, and i didn't like the permantly attached backrest...otherwise ok.

I had a Grasshopper backrest for a couple of years and loved it. Ann needed something a little taller for her bike so I bought her the Utopia, and almost immediately started drooling for one on my bike. Ended up giving the grasshopper to a good friend of mine back in WA.

The grasshopper is an excellent choice. Good price, great quality, nice man to do business with. If you decide on the Utopia, they're also excellent folks to deal with and build top-quality stuff. Either way is an excellent choice.
