Two KawaNOW members are in the current issue of Iron Butt Magazine...MikeInFLA and your's truly. We are pictured after completing the Legends Saddlesore 1000 in March...about froze to death but we both have smiles on our faces.

Start temp was 28 at 6:00 a.m. Never got above about 45 during the day with some nice wind. Finish temp at 11:30 p.m. was 28 again. For us, that is pretty darned cold.

congrats at making the ride and for getting your names and KawaNOW into print.
The KawaNOW name has/is getting some good press this year for sure. Cruiser Mag. and now Iron Butt. Which ones next.

I've done over 1000 miles on the bike but not at those temps. You definitely deserve the recognition. Congrats.

Yep, that is cold to ride in. Riding in 45 degree weather gets numbing after a while. Nice job!

Way to go guys! No matter what the temp an iron butt ride is quite an accomplishment. In cold weather it will really test your will to make that ride. You should be proud.

Congrats on the Ride.. 45 deg is a heat wave here up north, 28 a tad cooler.,,U guys are spoiled :)
