I could use some help trying to find a windshield bag for a 07 Nomad stock shield, almost lowest height. I would like a bag that I can mount on the shield, I can fabricate well, so brackets and pictures would be great maybe even size of bag you are using. I have already seen the ones on gadgets and here so looking for new info whoever might have it for me. Thanks

I'm not sure what you've seen already but,.....depending on the size you need/want,.... you could do what Iand others here have done and buy a "mans purse" and cut the belt off. I used the screw/bolts on the windshield to attach mine.

Here's my solution to working around the Baron's tach.

I found the two bags at an independent motorcycle accessories store. Any cycle show vendor area probably has similar items.

It contains a mirror and calculator, store bought. I gutted it and cut off the strap, and so it can hold 4 pair of glasses, roll aids, pen and paper maps, and a side stand plate with a cord on the plate. Works for me. The snug fit keeps it in place no matter what.

When I bought my bike it had a nice windshield bag on it. Only problem was that it was a Harley Davidson with the logo and all. Just didn't seem right..i didn't want to be a 'poser' so I took it off. Still need one though.

Mac,
How did you get that picture to post? I gave up and had even forgotten what pic I was trying to post. But, nice fish, huh? I'm obviously technically challenged. I see all these cool pics posted but have yet to take the time to figure it out.

Well I just purchased this one and like it a lot....

I had to trim some off of the plastic mounting area and make my own cut outs for the
windshield mounting screws but it worked out great.
I will post a pic later.

Buck I had to hunt it down from right clicking on the red x. That got me properties. I copied the address (copy and paste) and entered that as an address. No good, so I cut off the last part of the address to access you photobucket, and got on the album, where that hailibut fish is. LOL

From there I hoovered the curser over the picture till a pop up menu appeared.

When it did I seleceted the botton choice where on the left of it it says IMG Code

You may have to wait a few moments for the pop up after the page appears to be loaded. Just hoover the curser over the image you want.

Left click the code and it will be high lighted in blue. Some computers at that point will pop up a notifier at bottom left screen stating the code is saved and or copied to note pad. If so all you need do is post to reply in the long advanced form, not the quick reply, and hit the keys CTRL and V.

If you don't see the notifier pop up with the code still blue you Right click and select copy.

Then the same, hit the keys CTRL and V. in a reply window.

Nobody is more pc stupid than me. :-/

Now i have no idea where the pic is you want, I didn't see anything like that in your album. All the bike images were at a long distance away, and when I saw that great big fish I got to laffin hard, and figured Oh why not post that instead. LOL http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

Oh yeah I tried on the image under bike pic and I can''t locate what ever that is either. You must have changed the name of the image since it was up loaded, or removed it.

Another way to up load straight off your PC is to set up in advanced reply, where under the 'Subject' is another text box called 'Attacment: on the far right of the text box it says browse.

You hit that button and go into your system, where ever you want and or know where an image is you want to post. You select untill that image is ready to 'open'.

The address will display in the text box with no typing on your part. To read that address if you want for some reason, use the arrow pad . It looks like this then.
^
< > can't find the down arrow. You use the < and > to read the text box if you want and can do the same in photobucket to read the img code if you want.

In any case when the Attachment text box is loadded the image is here on kawa Now. It looks like this then.

Clayton, I ain't nobodys mom, but quit with the bling till after you get a fuel modual.

None of the bling will do you a bit of good with a 2 inch hole burned thru the top of a piston!

Each ping you hear isn't all the ping there is. Inaudiable ping is taking place, and each time it does, there goes a little hunk of metal.

Cars back so far as 85 had knock sensors, and these worked against ping that was inaudiable! When you can hear it any, that ping is acting like a 6 pound sledge and a cold chisel cutting metals deep in the combustion chambers.

It eats valve seats, valve faces, the top of the pistons all over. The metals skuff and score the cly walls, clog and cut rigs and ring lands (slots in the pistons that hold the rings).

If a rod pops up thru whats left of the piston top, or you poke a hole in a piston, and or just palin gag a ring so tight the top of the piston breaks off the skirt, you day is gonna be real bad.

I am trying to save you a buck not be a royal pain. Please forgive my comments if they seem harsh. I like you and don't want to see a total catastrphic failuer.
