CROSSDRESSERS!!

It's hard to believe, but at one point, the folks at Bub decided to make some pipes for the 1500 Nomad and called them "Crossdressers" (Who the freak at Bub thought that was a good idea?). They no longer make them, but the bikes have a great look if you can photos of them. There's a few VROC members where you can see them. I can find them on line and have been thinking about replacing my Cobra's. I'm not sure if I want to spend 4-500 to replace them, but I'm thinking about it.

I have had Bub pipes on other bikes in the past and I have been impressed with their quality and sound. Anyone here have these or have heard them? I have not been able to find a sound clip for these either. Any additional info I would appreciate.

Thats a new one for me, Ive never heard of them. Perhaps one of the VROC guys could make a sound clip for you if they have them.

This is what I have currently on my bike. I don't have a sound bite and unfortunately don't have anything to capture it with. The sound is no where as loud as the V&H, it is a more rumbling sound that is not very obnoxious although my neighbours might argue at 5:15 in the morning.

I had a set on my 01 Nomad...wish I would have kept them....nice sound....nearest Ive heard since is road house...too pricey for me....virg
