2006 or 2007 Mean Streak

Can anyone tell me if the engine in the 2006 or 2007 Mean Streak is the same engine as the Nomad ? I am looking for a 2006 or 2007 Mean Streak SE for my son. If anyone has a Mean Streak or had one feedback would be great. Thanks :)

Some parts are the same.

The heads and cams are different. The meanie has more cam and larger valves.

The meanie has one stator where the Nomad has two. The cranks are different, you can't put the Nomads second stator on the meanie.

I rode a meanie a couple years ago and was impressed by the power difference. Dragonchaser hit the nail on the head with his post. It should fit in a Nomad with no problems from what Ive seen.

I had an 06 Meanstreak, and loved it. Great bike around town, but I wasn't comfortable on long rides. I sold it and bought an 05 Nomad.
