View Full Version : Talimena Rally Motel Info *UPDATED*

Ok here it is, checked with the motel in Talihena they wanted $75 a night and there is only one restaurant in town, so its not going to be there. Went a little further north to Wilburton, decent rates $45 single $55 double, 2 restaurants in town, terrible parking at the restaurants, so decided against there. The Rally will be based out of Antlers Oklahoma again headquarters the Budgett Inn as before. Also will include info for the high dollar hotel if any one so desires:

As of August 5 there were 7 rooms left at the Budget Inn we have almost got the entire place to ourselves!!! I am checking with the Sportsman Inn to see if they will cut a break for us also in case this grows more

The guy told me he was out of non smoking rooms already.Just called the motel and they will have more non smoking available at the end of the month, when the work crew checks out, but if you would like to reserve one now he will give you a non smoking double for the single price, and you can always switch to a single when the crew leaves.

Ruth and I have our room booked (4 nights Wed - Sat). I'm looking forward to seeing you all again...almost as much as I am looking forward to seeing the faces of the folks at Honobia when they see a real bigfoot (Nightmare). Sorry Vic!

Just made mine for the 29th, 30th, 1st and 2nd. He gave me a non-smoking single room. Can't wait. And Victor, just for the record, I'm glad we're going back to Antlers. I love that little town with the breakfast buffet and those couple restaurants. Just perfect for a rally. Nice having a Kawasaki dealership close by also. See y'all.

Planning on leaving Omaha, NE on Tuesday (9/28) and spending the night in SE KS.

Here's hoping for good weather!! Last yr we had snow up here on the 4th of Oct!!!!
