I added some additional LED run/brake lights to the Nomad last week. I had been using the Kuyakin run/turn/brake system plus a Lic plate from from Signal Dynamics with a 6 inch LED run/brake light bar built in. I left the Kuyakin system in place and swapped out the Lic plate frame for one with two 6 inch LED bars. Also mounted two 6 in LED run/stop bars from Signal Dynamics on each side of the lower saddlebag support rail. Total project time was about 2 hours.

I also have an 1157 LED in the taillight and am waiting for 1156 LED lights to arrive replace the turn/run/brake bulbs. That will give me complete LEDs in the rear for better visibility and much less power requirements.

That's a great way to mount those LEDs. The more light at the back of the bike the better. I have an LED replacement bulb for my tail light and it is very bright. Let us know how you like the 1156 LED bulbs, and where you got them.

That is sweet! Man do I have some catching up to do. LOL
I ordered the 1156s from Superbrightleds.com. Should be here at the beginning of the week.

that should do it, looks like a brake light at an accident scene with a couple cop cars and maybe an ambulance thrown in for brightness

Some good looking lighting on those Nomads.

I didn't realize they had developed small nuclear power cells to run that many lights! Holy S%#T! No missing you. And if the airport ever has a power outage you can guide in some planes.

Yeah they can't say that but they can say they were blinded by the light.

fakebikerdude, let us know how the 1156 LED's work with the Kury. TW. Curious as to how the LED's react to the voltage drop caused by the Kury. TW.

Where did you get your 1157 LED taillight, and did you have to add anything to make it work properly? Or is it just a direct replacement - plug it in and go type of thing?
