I am in search of 16 gallon aka 1/2 barrel stainless steel beer kegs. I need three of them so I can quit borrowing my friends home-brew rig and make my own. I know somebody here in Texas has some laying around collecting dust in there garage.

Scoot, I make ten gallons at a time and we brew 2 to 3 times a month. I am trying not to split the batch with my friend who lets me borrow his brew rig. i am going to take this http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l22/bluetongue68/keg.jpg

Looks good Blue, What kinda beer you make? Me I don't drink to much beer more whiskey or Captain Morgan.

On my wine I make the fruit wines muscadine or scuppernong pear, preach, blueberry, and mulberry.

I'm shocked at the lack of concise, technically sound information in this thread. Definitely not characteristic of this group. The man needs three empty beer kegs. Easy problem to solve. Just buy three full ones and invite us all over!

Now that is the kind of problem solving we should expect from members on this site. Get one keg of Michelob and count me in.

I would be happy to buy three full kegs if I could choke down the nasty main stream beers that are available at most keg places. That is why I am a homebrewer to make great beer in small batches versus the big companies who make swill in huge batches.LOL
