In a few days I will write a small report to Trip about the rally. Wanted to know from the exceptional people who made it to the rally what their favorite part/ride/food was or anything else that stuck out for them.

Favorite part, or what stuck out?
1 - The waitress at Blondies.
2 - M $ highway.
3 - Hearing Els late at night, alcohol inspired, explanation as to why the ancients were not that smart after all. http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif
4 - Laughter and good conversation.
5 - The ride there, the riding while there, the ride home.

Or,
1 - The excellent tech info I recieved from the other rally attendees about my new bike. I wish I had recorded it all!
2 - A brand rep and magazine writer attend a small regional rally?! How impressive is that? Good job Kawasaki!
3 - Making 18 (did I count right?) new friends.

There wasn't any part of the rally I did not enjoy thoroughly...including the waitress at Blondie's... http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif!! It was all a great experience.

Best Part: Ride there, during and home again....10 days total... http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif http://s2.images.proboards.com/cool.gif!

Worst Part: Waking up with a pretty good hangover the morning of the San Juan Loop Ride. Not quite sure how that happened, but it must have been Ells fault....

Where is this Blondie's and did the waitress work lunch or dinner? I'll be out in Cortez and Moab in July and need the details.

It was dinner and the waitress was Blondie herself. Blondie's is right on Main St in downtown Cortez. South side of the street.

Meeting everyone in person (including Kawi reps), the evening conversations, the million dollar highway, the ride back.

What did I like the most?? - well it was not the sandstorm on day 3!!!

What I liked. Making the longest MC trip (just at 3,000 miles) of my life. Meeting some very nice Nomad riders who made me feel right at home.

The biggest surprised for me was how much I liked W. KS - wide open, no traffic, good roads, nice folks, a nice relaxing ride and I will go back.

And, come on, Blondie was not really all that great!!

Hope to c all of u again.

I enjoyed the after ride get togethers each evening with a great group of people.
The San Juan loop ride.
Lunch in Moab.
The Accelerate group.

http://www.blondiespubandgrub.net/ Looks like she's not the only hottie there. I think you guys were holding out on us. http://s2.images.proboards.com/cheesy.gif

Least favorite part was picking up the Nomad off the side street next a gas stop in Durango on the way to Cortez. Thanks Rod and Charlie for the assistance. Was a static drop after coming to a stop on an inclined surface with the front wheel against the stop and a little too much front brake (yes I know better), no sign of any physical damage.

Best part is hard to narrow down - If I have too, I'd say, "The rally."

For Ken "Tombstone" - I do make that same case without the chemical stimulus, but maybe a little less entertainingly, or so it seems...

Kris, - No, it was you, and yours! Proof!

Sure was good though.

PeteNomad - It was Blondie who was holding out on us. Of the crew in the photo, she was the only one there, guess she wanted us all to herself.
