You'll need a "left" saddlebag - they are definately different. Mine had decals on them that said left and right in like 5 different langauges.

Hey Nico if you going darkside keep me in mind for the passenger grab rails. Where did you get them from? They look a lot better than any I've seen anywhere

Not sure Tex.... came with the Nomad when I got her..... if I find out I'll pass the info along.... I did see them on some website...... they are perfect though,. :)

09-08-2007, 08:15 PM
Hey Nico.....there is a left side saddlebag listed on Ebay. Said it has a crack in the bottom of it though. Might be worth checking out. BTW, have you taken yours to an auto body repair shop to see if they can patch yours up?

09-17-2007, 11:19 PM
Sold for $233!

Nico you could get some webbed bungie straps and put them on both bags. Your bike would look like a Spiderman themed ride. Nobody'd be the wiser.

09-18-2007, 07:26 AM
Fiberglass Bondo is sounding better all the time! :)

beezer
09-18-2007, 07:11 PM
are you good with Bondo? Maybe you should let BD do it for you.

09-18-2007, 08:55 PM
I f*ck up duct tape.........

09-21-2007, 06:53 AM
I Krazy glued the bag back together..... !!!!!

I saw a left one on eBay and emailed it to you. It was black, but you could always paint it, or repaint the whole bike. Seems like someone was parting out a complete 1500 Nomad.

Hey Nico, I have an extra left bag door. The dealer scratched it a bit when I had it in for repair and so they put a new door on. It is just setting in my garage. Will that help or do you need the whole bag? It is silver and not that pretty red you have.

11-06-2007, 08:03 AM
Thanks Nauga...... actually the door was unharmed! The bag itself cracked.... I have it glued together now and it all fit back perfectly. One of these days I'll refinish and paint it!

Have you tried http://riderparts.com/ ? I thought my fuel pump was bad and put in a request, had 6 replies in 2 days. Of course some of the prices were no better than retail, but it's worth a shot.
