Ladies and Gentlemen, if you look in this months issue of Metric Roadbike and go to the letters to the editor you will see the header "Bring on the Baggers". Yes, that is in fact your very own SWB's commentary in the magazine.

This is the first time in my life that anything I wrote got put into print, and a national magazine at that. I'm psyched! http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

Awesome, I subscribe to Rider but it seems a trip to Barnes & Noble is in order.
I have always wanted to write. Good for you. I look forward to reading it and let us know if others get published.

Thank you Nico.

rflnomad, don't get me wrong, it was just a note I posted on their message board, but they found it worthy of print. Nothing major. I'm actually more surprised that it got printed. lol

socwkbiker - Hey that's cool!

It's really fun to see your name in print. I wrote a poem about my husband's old dog that died and it got printed in the local paper several years ago.
Titled 'Goodbye to an old friend'.

Sorry I missed it. I had to let some subs go. I was getting too many magazines. That one didn't make it to the keeper pile.

CONGRATS!!!!!!

Yeah. I had to dump Motorcyclist, Motorcycle Consumer News, CycleWorld, and RoadBike.

I kept Rider and my all time favorite Ride Texas. It is a regional mag that is about the best I have ever had. Although the focus is on Texas they have articles about other areas to help the Texas Rider plan for farther trips. When you have over 268,601 square miles, there is never a shortage of things to write about.

My favorite issues are the 2-3 that had a guy who wrote in for a column called "Saddlebag Gourmet." I LOVE to cook and I LOVE motorcycling so the combination was true euphoria for me.

They were really good articles and I haven't seen any more since the first 3.
