I finally got all of my stuff in for my fairing (radio, speakers, antenna, etc), and I'm looking for a little wiring advice. I know I've got to run a constant power for the radio memory, and a switched power for the radio, and of course ground. I'd also like to add a cigarette lighter plug.
Where did you tap power from? ground? Will I need a relay for the switched power to the radio? Any and all help or pointers are greatly appreciated.

Yes, you will need a relay for switched power to the radio. You could connect the accessory outlet and radio memory to the same constant power (unless you want the outlet switched). Depending on what you plan to use the accessory outlet for, you either need to run a dedicated circuit from the battery, or you could use the 12v accessory power in the headlight bucket or under the seat if all you plan to use it for is charging cellphones or MP3 players.

I got the power for radio, 12v acc plug for gps/phone in the headlight bucket also.

Mine is a '99, so the accessory power connections are under the seat. Would they be able to handle running a small air compressor?

Probably not. That might draw more than 10amps.
