Hello all! I'm a new member as well as being a new Nomad rider. I'm really happy to have found this forum, thanks Trip!
I had a Sportster, sold it and got a black 2007 Nomad. My wife now rides with me and we have a great time together. I drag race a front engine dragster (wife hates it) I've got a street rod (wife doesn't like it too much either) But she loves her Nomad. All was well in our world until 7:17 pm on 7/31/07 when a 16 year old dude in a SUV hung a left in front of me. I think I was only going about 15 mph when I hit him. Bent everything on the front end from the bars down. And broke my left leg, at 52 we don't heal as quick as we used to. So here I sit waiting for the bone to heal & a call from the bike shop telling me our ride is fixed. It's the first new bike I've had and only has 5000 miles on it. I found out real quick that Nomad means there ain't no way you can be mad when you ride a Nomad. What a great motorcycle! Have fun folks and be careful, we'll be back on the road with you all soon.
