We had a great time in the Hill Country ride with Trip and the Kawanow Brethren.
We trailered the bike with the wife's car. In Austin on the way home, another car ran a red light and the wife could not possibly stop. We broadsided the car and the trailer flipped over on to the Nomad. Unfortunately is destroyed.
Cheryl and I have some bruises and abrasions but we are going to be fine. We thank God for that. We are staying a few days with our son in Austin.
Will furnish more info and pictures later. Gotta lick our wounds for awhile. Oh yeah, Bea is fine too.
We pray everyone else made it home without incident.

Bill, I'm sorry to hear about this but happy to hear that no one was hurt badly. The outcome could have been much worse. Thank God it wasn't. Were both of you and Ms. Bea in the car?

There are two good things here. One, you were not hurt. Two, you can get another new Nomad and start the mods all over again. You lucky dog.

Bill,
The Missus and I are glad that the three of you are okay after the accident. Material things can be replaced; friends can't. Heal quickly and give our best wishes to Cheryl and Ms. Bea. We are close by if you need us. Watch out for the "idiots" in Austin.

My heart sinks when I see something about an accident on the board. Thank the Lord you and your wife are alright. I know from two previous bike wrecks it's tough to loose a bike that you put a lot of time into and enjoyed riding. I hope your as pleased with your next bike as I am with mine.

Bill and Bea,
I am very sorry to hear of your misfortune.....Rest up....
All regards,
Bill,
When I read the title, I thought the worst. Glad you guys are OK. The RV and Nomad can be replaced, but not you, Cheryl and Bea. Glad you guys are OK.

If someone runs a red light and hits me, I hope that I'm in a car not the bike too! Best of all would be for the idiots to not run red lights.
Glad you weren't on the bike and that nobody was seriously injured. Get a lawyer so the insurance doesn't screw you.

Thanks for all the well wishes. We can thank GOD the wreck happened to us in the van. We are going to be ok. We are going to stay with our son in Austin for a couple of days.
We had already dropped the Dually and RV off in Burnett at a RV park. So its fine and we have a way home. Our van, bike trailer, and Nomad are probably a total loss.
We did enjoy riding the hill country and friends. Glad the rest of the South Central Group is home safe.
Bill
I too am sorry to hear of your incident. Glad that all will be okay.
Blessings!

sorry to hear that your nomad is totaled but it is very good news
that you guys are okay.there seems to allways be at least one
accident whenever we gather for these rallies.i think we had three or four after or during the custer rally last summer.

Oh crap.. sure glad you guys are okay. Ann & I just got back this weekend from our own ride down to Kerrville. That's some scary stuff.
Hopes and prayers for fast healing to you both!
I am very glad to hear that you both are ok. As others have said, it could have been much worse. People in cars have WAY too many distractions while driving. They just don't pay attention. Especially when a motorcycle is involved. Once again, glad ya'll are ok. I'm like Idaho, now you can go out, and "doll up" a new Nomad.

Hope all works out ok, glad you are ok, but sad for the Nomad. Hopefully like Idaho said you can get a new out of the insurance moneys, even tho, if you are like me, you probly hate to let your Nomad go even for a new one. Keep us up to date.
