I'm really thinking about getting a fuel processor for my Stock Nomad but I'm not sure which one to get, Cobra or Techlusion. The Cobra is a little cheaper and they both seem to have good reviews. Any reason to pick one over the other outside of price?

From everything I've been able to gather either one of them seems to be just fine. I think it ends up just being a personal preference.

You can't go wrong with either of them.

Please post your experience Carolina. This is my next project too.

Is there a preference for plug and play versus tapped installations. For some reason I recall some debate over that.

I installed the tfi I am sure they are both good products but the tfi was an easy install no under gas tank access necessary , this makes it easy but then again not plug and play so ???

I have the TFI on my '06. I did the double Cadmann and was left running lean. The TFI only enriches the air fuel mixture so I went with it. I believe the cobra enriches and can lean out the fuel mixture as well. Plus I think the Cobra is the more expensive processor. There are others here that'll jump in and give you more info. I hope this helps.

I also believe the TFI has a plug and play option as well. I went with the one that needed to be soldered.

I have the Cobra FI2000R and have been well satisfied. I did get the plug and play version. It makes it so much simpler that way. I can't give any advice on other fuel processors but I am more than satisfied with the Cobra.

Very satisfied with the Techlusion plug and play. www.customdynamics.com (http://www.customdynamics.com) for a good price.

I came across this quite a while back. http://www.totalfuel.net/ It gives a brief review of the 3 most popular choices. I will pobably go with the TFI plug and play.
