i put rivco risers on my 2007 nomad, marked middle where they were clamped down, put risers on ,put bars back on mark, but now i do not know if i should tilt the bars more or not to get more relaxed arm position. any suggestion are greatly appreciated.

That would be an individual preference. You will just have to tinker and see what feels best to you.

Adjust them to whatever works for you. It's entirely personal preference.

How are the Rivco risers? I'm considering them myself. Quality, fit and finish?

I considered other risers and spacers, but my large OEM windshield bag would be in the way of any riser that comes straight up without bending back.

Take a ride with an allen wrench to fit the riser bolts and try different handlebar positions. I was more comfortable with my handlebars set higher but found that I could not control the bike as well in tight low speed maneuvers. Had to compromise and lower the bars. Control vs comfort, for me control won out.

What is your source for these risers? Order from a distributor or direct?

Also, I have seen some 2" spacers that I think go between the current handlebar mounts and the triple tree. Has anyone tried these? If so, how did they work out?

There's a lot of sources for risers. I have Scootworks Phat II, others have Aeromach or Chuckster customs.

I had them on my bike until I went with a fairing they worked fine they don't bring the bars back as much as pullbacks do but if you only need a little aft and up they will do fine
