Many years ago you could buy a motorcycle jack that was 2 legs about 8" or so with a top cross bar about 2' maybe ( it made 3 sides of a rectangle) with a handle, about 2' long comming off of one of the corners at 90 deg.s or so. That is to the best of my memory, but the 70's are a tad foggy. Does any one still make this jack? They were popular for the home garage.
Thanks for your time

I am not really sure on that. Sounds like a great idea. I have been using two floor jacks for my Nomad. Put one on each side of the frame and jack slowly alternating from left to right. It works you just have to be extremely careful.

You can find them in magazine ads that are orientated to sport bikes. I have one that was given to me by a total stranger on the side of the road. I use it to lift one wheel at a time for cleaning(about once every few years :) ).

Sonny, Most of us DIY ers use a lift from Sears or Harbor Freight these days. The one at HF is around 65 bucks, and is damnned handy.

I use mine for a dolly for other things too. The lift type you are after might get the ft end up for a tire change, but it won't get the rear unless you pull the fender.
