After what seemed to be a life time watching and hearing about everyone else starting their riding season, I finely got my bike insured today. Ever since I tore my right MCL in February I've been tortured by the sounds of motorcycles in what's been, probably the earliest spring on record, here on the "wet" coast.
A great day to get the feel of what I've missed so much. That two wheel freedom,... with the familiar roar of the pipes,...the air caressing my face,..... ::) ::) ::) ::)
The knee is almost there now, feels pretty good,....but the bad thing about being able to ride the bike is,.....ya,..being able to go back to work. Oh well at least I'll be riding back to work. Yee Hah !!

Back in the saddle?, I thought this post was going to be about Roy Rogers or Gene Autry. http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif Good to hear you are getting out on the Nomad Rick.

Enjoy the ride Ricky. Here's a tip, if the bike starts to go down, just step away. Don't try to catch the whole bike on that knee!

Glad to hear the knee is getting better and Kudos on you bike in MC. I developed a knee problem in the last several months and it hasn't gotten better. Hurts when it is bent in 90˚ angle. Riding just 15 miles to work sets it on fire. You'd think after losing 85 lbs it would get better, not worse. Oh well. Off to the Orthopedic this monday. I hope he can fix it without laying me up for long. Glad to read your back up on the bike. Next time I see you we will toast to our knees with some Macallan.

Thanks to all for your best wishes on my recovery, and for the magazine pic and write up. That was a real surprise! I figured they just tossed me aside for some hot Harley, or Vision. And for them to honor my request to include a plug for KawaNOW was a real thrill for me. I promote this site whenever and wherever I can. It's a great place with great people. Now I need to get off here and go for a ride before the rain starts later.
