Has anyone put these air wings on their Nomad. I'm thinking about getting a set. Sounds like they'll help deflect air flow away or direct it to where you want it and they look good. www.bakerbuilt.com (http://www.bakerbuilt.com)

Never seen any on a Nomad before. I have seen them on HD's and Valkyries.

Ive never seen those either, but I use the ones that bolt on the bottom of the fairing, they are a HD part and help deflect the air.
I borrowed my neighbours before I bought mine to see how I liked them.

If I had a fairing, I'd prefer the ones that ringading is talking about.
My brother just put baker air wings on his Goldwing. They are very nicely made. He says they make a big difference reducing air flow or directing it more where he wants it. I can't tell you how how effective they would be on a Nomad.

Dang! $270...they must be pretty proud of them. I'd have to hear some first hand accounts from Nomad owners who have used them before I'd spend that kind of coin on them.

To be frank... they don't look good at all.
No offense here intended; but "butt-ugly" comes to mind with those things.
They look like they were an "after-thought" or something that shouldn't be there.
Just make yourself larger lowers and you'll be fine if wind is your problem.
Just my honest opinion... ;)

Thanks, I didn't want to be the first to say how odd they look. You could maybe pay me $270.00 to try them! http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

Bitter, table for one.
I didn't say I was going to buy them. Er, what is "TBO" by the way?
Ought to be illegal, certainly must be immoral, to put something so ugly on a Nomad.

I had baker air wings on my Goldwing and they were very well made. I mainly used them to direct air ON me because that bugger was HOT in the summer with the very large Tulsa windshield I had plus a mesh jacket. They were good at blocking the wind too, especially for the passenger in the case of the wing, but i would burn up with them set in that mode when my wife rode with me.

I also think that they don't look very good. Blend in on a Goldwing. Stick out on a Nomad.
