Made it through my first year, thanks in large part to you all.
Bought my Nomad one year ago after not sitting on a bike for over 20 years, and never riding a bike as big as my '02. I have gone from barely being able to make it around the parking lot at the local elementary school to making a trip to Pittsburgh, PA. The knowledge and experience you all freely share has been invaluable in making my riding experience the best it could be. Thanks!
A special thanks goes out to Mac and his wife Gwynn. Two of the best people you could ever hope to meet.
Some Vital Stats:
Parking lot time about 12 hrs
Total miles 13,000+
Went down once (Dexter, ME)
Longest ride - 625 miles/ 10hrs. (Hingham MA to Pittsburgh PA)
Coldest ride - 17degrees (Wreaths Across America Escort)

Life is good on the "top side" of a Nomad
That's what it's all about. Getting better and evolving. Congrats!

My wife is from Plymouth, I lived there for ten years, got tired of shoveling snow and headed south. We're riding up from VA the end of June, headed for the Cape and Martha's Vineyard. Hopefully we can meet up somewhere.

Someone told me that if you make it through the first year, you've got a pretty good chance of survival as a bike rider. Congratulations!

Will do, my brother lives in the area so I will definitely be heading that way some time this summer. He also rides a Nomad, he has an '07.
