end of April, going up I-10 tp I-12 anything i should be aware of,,, first LONG ride for momma and myself. heading to a bike rally in Denham. thanks

Denham Springs is a nice town. Be sure to visit the new Bass Pro store while there. Also, take a ride down LA-16 to LA 22. Very nice twisty roads. Eat at Kevins on LA 22 about 1 mile from where it intersects with LA 16 just north of Sorrento. Great seafood and steaks. I'd ride up to meet you bugman but I'll be meeting a group for the Texas Hill Country ride. Have a safe and enjoyable trip.
