Can somebody help a feller out and get a couple measurements off their 2007 Nomad with the stock sissy bar/passenger backrest? I need to know the following measurements:

1) Distance from passenger seat to bottom of passenger backrest

2) Distance from passenger seat to top of backrest

I had to remove my oem sissybar/backrest when I added my Corbin trunk - Was able to take my first long ride today since the weather was nice, and my wife said the backrest on the Corbin isn't comfy at all. She felt is was much lower than the oem. If I can get the oem measurements, I might be able to adjust the trunk up to fit where the oem used to be...

Appreciate the help.

1) 3.5 inches to the very bottom of the backrest but closer to 4 inches where it would actually contact your back

2) 11.75 inches

Judging by your pics the stock backrest is a lot higher.

Yep - My wife says the Corbin is noticeably shorter - and no ways near as comfy...
