All, it is with a heavy heart that I type this.
Here at Vought Aircraft, we have many people who ride. On Tuesday, Jim Prentice was riding home on his 2003 Harley - Davidson Electra Glide. It was about 6:45 and raining. He was involved in a single bike accident in an area of road construction.
He passed away in the hospital. 49 years of age.
He is such a great guy; hard worker, keeps his word, loved bikes and cars and always had a smile for everyone. In a world of few great people, it is tough when we lose another one.
Prayers to Barb and his son.

So sorry to hear of this. Sounded like a really great person. Those construction zones can take a toll, as LW experienced a while back.

Very sad to hear, You know I always weigh the risks of motorcycling and not just to onesself but those who we could leave behind. Its a strange kind of draw that get us on motorcycles in the frist place. But we do:)

Things like this seem to happen to the best people we know. It's ashame he had to leave so soon, but God has a reason for it Thank goodness he got to know and enjoy the pleasure of riding a bike. So rest assured he enjoyed life. I know the sorrow and emptiness you feel right now of loosing a co-worker and when they ride and it's tougher because we loose a brother or sister.
