I followed the directions that came with the Kury grips I put on the bike. They instructed to use a sharp knife or blade to cut the left grip lengthwise. That's what I did but I have a buddy who uses an air compressor and blew air into it to remove the grip. The right side slides off after unhooking the throttle cable. Have fun!

The left stock grip cap is removed (I stand corrected) by turning <s>counter</s> clockwise.
I used a long screw driver to get under the left rubber grip to break the glue seal and then slipped it off. I used alcohol to clean the remaining glue off before installing the new ISO grip with its supplied bonding agent.
Good luck.
Thanks everyone ,should be an easy install...

According to gadgets page the left grip cap on a Nomad has a reverse thead which would be clockwise to remove.

Recently installed Iso grips. Throttle sleeve came incorporated in new grip. Read all instructions. Also spacer tube for LEFT grip is stored in the RIGHT (throttle) grip. Be sure to remove before attempting to install throttle grip. Had to get a flashlight to see what the hold-up was. I prefered to install throttle grip first so I would know where to position left grip. Once it's glued you gotta live with it. It was suggested by a friend to clean the inside of left grip good before installation. Pinched half of grip together and slipped it out end of frame and the other half followed. Cleaned with alcohol and slipped halves back into frame.
