Good luck with the surgery Larry. I'm laid up too since 12/26. Tore all the ligaments in my ankle. 2 more weeks in a cast then physical therapy. If that don't fix it I get surgery. I am so bored!!!

Hey Brett, are you watching Barrett/Jackson auction like me? Did you screw-up your ankle by chasing the wife around the kitchen table? You hit the big 50 mark so you can't do the things you did 30 years ago.
They cut the flap of cart ledge off that was torn and smooth what they could. I'll probility have to have that chicken sh*t shot to both knees because of the arthritics. this was the 7th time I had minor surgery over the years.

I've been watching Barrett Jackson, football, hockey, The Price Is Right, anything I can find on t.v. Counting down the hours til this cast comes off. Sitting on the couch don't pay much either! (no pay at work unless you get hurt on the job) Plus I have to pay for my medical insurance while I'm out of work. My next employer is gotta have better benefits than I have now. http://s2.images.proboards.com/tongue.gif

Hey radco, remember last June at Watkins Glen, I had one hell of a time trying to walk. Well I had torn cart ledge and arthritis.
Today I could walk without the pogo sticks, so I signed up for the Boston marathon ;)

How's the knee doing Larry? I get my cast off tomorrow, then start therapy. I'm hoping no surgery needed.

Over a month with a cast on! It should of healed by now, lets hope.
I had ligaments cut to straighten my right knee about 24 years ago and never went to therapy, big mistake. Before I tore the cartledge (back in June) my left knee was my good knee. Its coming along very well now. I should of had it fixed sooner but, OH hell thats what happens to thick headed Irishmen.
Don't over do it at therapy. I know, just ask me about my shoulder :'(
Where are you going for therapy?

The closest places that takes my insurance are down at 309 and Shawnkweiler Rd. or up at 309 and 100. I gotta figure out soon which one to use. Therapy will probably start right away as soon as the cast comes off.

The doc gave me prescriptions for Valium and Percocet after surgery last Thursday so I might have signed up for the Boston Marathon too. I'm really not sure. ;) I'm starting therapy again tomorrow and it's gonna be intense this time. Gotta get back to work. You gotta get better Larry, I need somebody to race against. http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

I was in one a few years ago, it was very cold and super noisey. Not my cup of tea. It was fast though, it had a 454 chev motor.
