I purchased a used Bunk House camper last night. Had to drive 2 hours in the rain to get it, but it is a great looking deal.

I haven't had a chance to set it up yet at the house but we set it up in the garage when I picked it up and it is in perfect condition. I put one that the seller sent me of it set up in his yard.

Now I have to order the hitch assembly for the bike and get that installed along with the wiring.

If anyone wants to give me some tips on the wiring, feel free.

The previous owner gave me a tarp for under the dressing area and part of the area covered by the screen room. He gave me some carpet for the dressing area and some other goodies. It seems to have a good amount of storage in it. Of course, I haven't loaded it yet...too busy with weightlifting season today to even look it over any more.

I'd be glad to let anyone see it when we get to the rally. Heck, I'll set it up in your front yard when we stop to see you. Your neighbors will think you have the Clampets visiting, lol.

Looking forward to seeing it. The wife and I would like to camp with the bike and may be in the market for one ourselves.

Get you a Hoppy trailer light converter and just follow the directions. Uses power from your battery for your trailer lights and doesn't run through the bikes system.

Look at the 3rd picture. It shows which wires to connect. The Hoppy converter is the way to go. The picture is for the rear light wires under the front seat on a 1500 Nomad (looking from the front toward the back fender). The red wires on the right are what the running lights hook to (trailer connector brown wire). The blue wire next to it is for the brake light . The gray wire on the left and top right are the blinker wires (connect to the green and yellow trailer connector wires).

I thought about making a trailer from a kit with a car topper or a box but I'm not adept with a welder...heck, who am I kidding, I'd burn down the house with one, lol. So I decided to go this route to save some money on lodging. Plus, we do some traveling and have a throw down, so wife and I can sleep in this and the boys can do the throw down.
