Wishing our friends in Texas the best, considering there is a tropical storm headed your way...
Leave 'em in the garage for a day or so; be safe !

I agree GH. We will be there unless I can not see the road.

I'm just hoping for a window in the clouds at around 2300 Thursday night to land at Hobby. After that it can do whatever it will. I cant wait to sleep in my own bed again.

Thanks dragon57.....Actually, this tropical storm (Erin) is not the one we're worried about....it's the one next week (Dean) that'll probably throw us a punch....that is if it gets to hurricane strength like they're predicting.

I agree with ya GH and BT......I've been keeping grandkids the last two weekends....I'll be there unless I can't see my hands in front of me in daylight.

I just saw that on the news. It looks like Dean is the one with the power behind it. Hopefully it will taper off. Stay safe everybody.

SCB don't be too mad at Nico, I don't live too far from him. Thats what we get to look at most of the year on the Pacific Coast.

With my luck there will be an earthquake when I'm on the Coronado bridge........ http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u272/DrNickDC/coronado.jpg :-/ ::) http://s2.images.proboards.com/shocked.gif

Then I'm jealous of both of you. Out here, we get flat lands and maybe a lake. http://s2.images.proboards.com/tongue.gif

Only be jealous of your weather and scenic view. Our politics is enough to make you move to Texas!!!

GH, dude, I need some advice on where to ride since I've been thinking about where I can go for some scenic rides.

I'm looking for something with both tight twisties and sweepers, local as in someplace I could go for a couple of hours and get home. Not looking to do an all day ride since I'm usually busy with work, school...etc, and local food. I'm trying to find new places to eat.

I can come up with something if you let me know what your looking for in the ride (as in mileage, local or chain food, tight twisties, sweepers, etc.).

We both hope Texas does OK with the rains coming. We went through 2 hurricanes in 04 and 1 in 05. All 3 were direct hits over our house.
Not a good feeling.
( this is another reason we bought property in Tennessee)
Just ride it out and cover that bike!!!
