I've been viewing Kawanow since sept.07 so I decided to join . In may 2000 I bought my nomad. In sept 2003 I traded it for a 2004 Electra Glide. Then in Sept 2007 after 2 other owners of the Nomad, I bought it back. I kept my Electra Glide because I like it but I missed my Nomad. After all I needed something to ride to go get parts for my Harley.

Thanks for the welcomes. Even though I live in Illinois, I am originally from West Virginia where the eastern rally is going to be. I know the area very well. For those who are planning to go, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery and friendly people. I make West Virginia, at least once a year, one of my bike trips for the summer.

Welcome billyray from Wisconsin. I was born and raised in Illinois, I just moved across the border into Wisconsin late last year. Maybe we can meet up for a ride when the weather gets warm.

Welcome from N.C. My brother was a Nomad owner, got me hooked, then sold his Nomad to buy a Harley. He now admits the Nomad is a better cruiser, but with no Harley I'm still a 'second-class' citizen. Buck
