This may not seem much to those in the southern states but here in Toronto, it is a balmy 9C which is 48F. Clear skies and a warm sun made for a fun short ride. After this it is time to winterize and store until the spring. I am just adding on new lowers to the 09 as a finishing touch.

Any day you can get out is a good day for a ride.I'm just glad I don't have to worry about putting mine up for the winter.
Enjoy it as long as you can.

I don't know about Toronto area, but around Montreal there are still quite a few bikes on the road.

Don,
It was that temperature when we were down your way in July, well close 13c one morning riding along the coast! http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif
I went riding every day this week after several weeks of weather not cooperating with free time.
It was a heat wave around here for this time of year, Sunday 14c, Monday 18c, Tues 12c, Wednesday 12c, Thursday 9c, Friday 10c and on the seventh day the wife said "you better do some work around here!
Still not putting the bike away till the salt trucks come out.

I was at the Friday the 13th event at Port Dover yesterday (www.pd13.com) on the shores of Lake Erie.
There were thousands of bikes there. I was very surprised to see that many. Unfortunately I put my bike in storage on Thanksgiving weekend (Oct 13th) as the long range forecast looked bad then. It was sunny and 10c yesterday.

Had a great day to ride. Went to our monthly CMA meeting and group of us left after the meeting and ride the highways and byways for a couple of hours. It was great. Not too many days like this are left in 2009 for those of us in the Eastern side of the States. Hoping anyone who ventures out today had as good a day as we did. It was GREAT!!

I didn't ride to Dover this year, too far for a cool day. Next year Friday the 13th is in August. All those near Lake Erie or Lake Ontario should mark this date on the calendar. Two years ago during riding season, there were tens of thousands of motorcycles, lots of merchants with good prices, and other events. It is a fun day.

I'm considering some kind of a double pontoon to attach to the Nomad,... we've had so much rain.
That, and winds you really don't want to be out in.

Glad you guys up north are still able to enjoy some rides. I took mine out today and rode for an hour or so. Of course the temp here was close to 70 degrees F.

I seen guys out on bikes yesterday when I was coming back from hunting. This is one of the nicest Novembers weve had in years. I rode in to work tonight and it was about 50 here. Its supposed to stay like this all week, If it stays for a few months I'll be real happy.
