Went on favorite "local" ride yesterday. Route 62 North out of Mercer PA to Tionesta PA. I spied 2 Nomads while on route. Just wondering if either of them were members on here?? I would have stopped and gave a lil preaching about our Forum, but one was going in opposite direction, and other was at gas station when I blew by at 60. What a ride!!

Me and the good wife used to live in Franklin, PA back in the seventies and recall taking a good many enjoyable car rides on Rt 62 in the area you describe..Tionesta is among the most beautiful areas I've ever seen..had no bike then..

All I have to say to you, Mr. Fish, is we WILL be meeting up next spring one day!! I still have to calculate where the mid point tween us is. http://s2.images.proboards.com/tongue.gif I may be talked into riding 51% o the way. ;) ALL that riding along the Allegheny is first rate. To this point, the farthest East I've ridden in PA is Kinzu, but that shall be remedied next season!! http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif
