Being bored and cold lately have been doing alot of looking at odd things for the bike and found these l.e.d brake lights with spinners. Direct replacement for old bulbs. Bought a set off ebay and offered guy $11 shipped and he took it. Take a look at one of his items kinda cool will post how I like it when I get it but for $11 I thought it would be neat to try. This link also has a few videos of them working.

I wonder how this operates with a Triple Whammy hook up?

Very cool. If it is just a plug and play light bulb, I'll be buying one!!!

I had one about 9 years ago. At that time it was too dim, so I replaced it. LED's have gotten a lot better since then, so maybe your will work better.

I going to be up front with you and give you my honest opinion. Red LED's shinging through red lenses cause a very dim light. And when riding in a group the spining light is distracting to the riders behind you. If you are going to use one get a clear lens and ride at the rear of the group. Just my opinion!

I wondered why they always sent me to the back :'(

I run this light at the top of my license plate frame.

The flashing part when the brakes are applied is a great idea. I have thought about installing the back off modulator on my brake light several times. But the moving light causes the riders behind you to assume you are applying the brake, it is very distracting and un-nerving especially when riding curves or in heavy traffic. At least it is for me and several others I know feel the same way.

I thought that the back of the line was for the people with loud pipes! :)

I just installed the Kisan Tail Blazer Brake light modulator. Works GREAT!
Flashes fast then progressively slower for about 4 seconds then stays on solid. I have the Electrical Connection Turn Signal Conversion kit, so my Brake light and the Led's in the Turn Signal all flash together. I drive through Manhattan and the NY metro area and I can tell that people see me and stay back a bit.
Got a Stebel for those that don't see me and try to cut in on me!

My .02, Watchman has told the truth. I have followed one of the old ones, you can't tell what they are doing, the light is always flashing and twisting it will hold your attention to the point of not watching the road. Then when the brake is applied it flashes then lights up solid, still hard to see. You have run up on them by the time you figure out they are slowing down. Maybe they have a new style or pattern, don't know and not interested.
I think Watchman and Liz have the light like gghost, now there is a light thats easy to see and you know whats happening. That will be in my future.

if Im not mistaken a spinner light in your tail light assembly is illegal. Check your states laws.

Hi' I've had the LED lights for two years. I agree with Watchman, I took mine off the bike two weeks ago after being stopped by the POLICE for the third time this summer. ( no fines) But this might only happen in Canada . They are eye catchers though.

OMG.....If you lose your attention span cause of a couple small light to the point you might wreck or can't keep your mind on the road......I wouldn't want you following me anyway..

eww eww Pretty lights.....

Just My Opinion

And doc your right they might not be legal......but who really cares

like they said if they are in a red len you can hardly see them anyway...but don't look at them you might get hypnotized .......lmao

still laughing at this one ........

if you want them get um.........I did

After watching the you tube video of the lamp in action I am convinced I don't want one.
