Thought it might be interesting to start a thread with some pictures of the bikes. This image is of 1600 Nomad way back on Sept 2006. Lots of miles and add-on's since then.

I'll update the photograph and add some text as to what I've done to it in the next few days.

Nice pic of you on Deal's Gap, tconnell. The day I was running the Dragon the photographer's weren't out. Here's a pic of me and Ruby Earl on Hwy. 16 between kerville and Medina, TX.

Trip, looks like a little Photoshop work on the picture. Ruby Earl is still looking good though.

We lucked out on our Deal's Gap ride as there were two photographer groups working the run that day. There were four of us that made the run, two of my sons, my brother-in-law and myself. We left Athens, Ga about 6am with the temp at 29° and then rode North and climbed up as we went. It did get some colder, but by the time we hit the Gap early in the afternoon it was nice.

A young lady shot our images and we found them on the site. I called and talked with her some photographer talk and she sent me everything she shot of us on a CD. So I had a good choice to pick from. Printed out 13x19's and framed them for each of us. She was in the choice spot as the background was nice for all our shots.

I was going to ask you how to embed an image right into the post but had a brain spark and saw how to do it.

Here is a link to some other pictures of my Nomad showing some of the things I've done.
http://www.connellstudios.com/Nomad/HTML/index.htm

Pressing the F11 key after getting into the images will give you the entire screen to view - Press it again to go back to normal viewing.

Thanks Steve.... I appreciate it!

you can also change the weight of the shock oil to make them stiffer

So my understanding is we can't, at this time, add from our computer a signature pic of our pride and joy? Must be a link on the web?

I used photo bucket but it doesn't show a pic? doing something wrong?? I thought I'd follow instructions exactly: link the RUL between the two symbols? hmmm...

On photobucket it show that there are 3 possible ways to link a picture. Which one should I be using? HTML?

Brad, you may be experiencing the same maladay as I. My IT dept. has an anal firewall that automatically blocks anything from photbucket without generating an error, the pic.s just don't show. The fact you can read photobuckets direction seem to say this might not be the case though. GOOD LUCK!

Brad, you've got a good looking scoot yourself. I like that green.

Thanks GH! As you can see thats a Green/Silver highly modified Dodge turbo diesel in the background. Guess I'm like Nancy and I stick to colors I like! Now you know why I'm Blowndodge!

My wife teases me because I'm anal on keeping the Nomad spotless. I even wax the frame! I'm hopeless....

Wonder why we don't see shabby looking Nomads? We are a pridefull bunch aren't we?

Nico, I dont recall seeing that horn in the Kawasaki accessory catalog. You've got style my friend.

I tried to post a pic out of Webshots, but apparently ran into the same problem as Brad. I tried all 3 addresses, and can only get the thumbnail to come up in preview.
To quote the Pace commercial "that really chaps my hide".
