Well, I happened on a 2007 Nomad 1600 with 5880 miles on it a few days ago, rode it, fell in love with it, and brought it home today...

I dont' yet know how to post photos, but see an explanation and will get to it..meanwhile, here's a summary:

Red and Titanium color.
Purchased for less than blue book retail.
Extras:
Vance and Hines pipes installed...(stock pipes in box also came
with bike).
Rider backrest....it can be adjusted back and forth like the front seat of a car.
Chrome luggage rack.
Nice leather bag above handlebars and next to windshield for sunglasses, etc.
KH Pam hypr ch F/EF, yada yada...I dont know what this is.
"Million Mile Filter" ...I dont' know what this is..
Not a scratch anywhere.

Impressions so far:
I rode the bike home a distance of 25 miles...to say it is smooth is an understatement..The tranny is like silk upshifting and dowshifting..Stability plus...wow...nice, solid heavy feel, but not overly heavy..Handles like a dream...in just half the distance home, the bike was already "mine"..

But y'all know this stuff anyway..

I'm a happy camper.

One of the Kawanow members let me know about the bike adn I went from there with the seller..

Thanks for giving her a home. I know your gonna enjoy her.

It's been sitting out a while.... just a thought, keep an eye on the tires. Especially if they are the stock Bridgestones.

Took a nice long ride yesterday with earplugs as the V&H pipes are too noisy for me at highway speeds....I enjoyed the peace and quiet...may switch to stock pipes, but will try earplugs awhile...

Bike is amazing to me....too many nice things to mention.....Smooth-as-butter shifting is very impressive, to name just one thing..

BTW, want to thank Kowanow member TROSCO for giving me the tip to the seller of the bike.....

Used an airhawk cushion and a sheepskin yesterday and it improved the seating comfort noticeably.

Regards,
