Nomad 1700 Windshield Height

I am trying different settings for my windshield height on my 1700 Nomad. I like the full up setting, which has me looking thru the windshield ( I am 5-9"). But if it rains, it is very difficult to see thru the windshield.

Just curious what setting others set their windshield at, and how tall are you?

I'm about 6'1" and I have the shield on my 2007 adjusted at about nose level. I can see over it and the wind isn't bad.

I really dislike looking through a bike windshield. Like CJ, my windshield is set at nose level so I can see over it! :)

On my 1700 I have the shield set at the lowest position. I am 5'11' and can see over the top with no buffeting. The wind I do get comes from under the tank. On my 900 Vulcan I had to look through the windshield and didn't like that in rain. I recently rode through heavy rain (who hasn't this year!) and had no problems seeing when looking over.

I have mine set about 1.25" higher than the lowest position. WS is about my top lip.
