Well, finally got my flags and posts from Rumbling Pride installed. Cost me 80 bucks for the mounting system and American Flag. I purchased the 7 1/2" flag poles. Install was a snap.

Actually, I believe they are both, Dabull. You can use these brackets if you have a leaning license plate or straight.

He's got the post mounted it the top which is the 22 degree angle, the 45 is the mounting hole on the side of the mount were the little black bullet (which is actually the post tip} is located. The mount has both 22 and 45 degree mounting The little cone bullet shaped thing is just the mast tip and they come in black or chrome. They are used as mast tip or as a plug to the additional hole the the mount. The nice thing about them is if you want to pull the flags, just get a couple extra tips and you can plug the holes up. The tips are just plastic that thread on the the plastic (nylon) mast. To mount the tips in the hole of the mount it use a short piece of nylon all thread.

I want to get some of those, but with the trunk, I can not figure out where to mount them. I do not have a chrome rack on the trunk.

Trip, I have a 07 and I just bought the same "Touring" setup and wonder if I should have bought the "Cruiser" setup. I cannot tell from your picture what you have attached the flag bases to?

Trip's are mounted to license plate frame.

Wonder if he used the adhesive tape provided? It looks like some bolts may have been screwed into it from the back of the license plate.

Just trying to find a flat surface to attach to since the Nomad has all those beautiful curves. :-)

Not only did I use the adhesive tape, but I used the provided screws also.

DK Dixie, I did not get the KawaNOW discount. Thought that was only if I ordered the KawaNOW flag.

Trip, I did not get a set of screws like you referred to. You must have an extra large license plate base. My Georgia tag covers the entire 07 plate so there is no base area available to stick the flag mounts to.

KawaNOW flags are 9.95. Suppose to get 10% off to KawaNOW members when buying mounts.

I'm confused. Post a picture of your flag mount. I have same mount as Trip, w/Georgia plate and its mounted on the backside of the frame with license plate bolts.

I would like to order, but I now have a trunk with no chrome rack on top. I don't know where the flags would mount.

Check out the photos on their web site. They have quite a few pictures of bikes with trunks.

dk Dixie, I finally figured out what I think you and Trip have. According to RumblingPride, you have an additional plate that connects behind the license plate and sticks out like Mickey Mouse ears. The mount is attached to the "ears." I think the people at RumblingPride called it the Ultra Cruiser model. Ordered it today. Mine originally just came with the black metal mounts. Anyway, the fix is ordered.

Glad you got it worked out.....but the mount I have has "ears" on the flag mount, but I don't have an extra plate.
