I was having problems coming to a stop properly when my wife was a passenger and had developed a wobble at last moment when coming to a stop. When at stop, the passenger footrest was pressing into my calves and very awkward to keep bike upright properly for any length of time.

We worked it out that the foot-boards were too far forward for me to keep the bike up and the wobble I had developed was just me thinking that, "those bl00dy footrests are gonna bang into me again."

Solution, move them back inch and a half. Found some steel bars two inches wide laying around, cut em up so that could drill them in four places to fit the original holes on chassis, and new holes for bolting the footrests on. Had the choice to angle them but wife said the standard 'flat' angle was fine. So trip to hardware store, 4 M8 bolts and washers and nyloc nuts.

Result, perfection(well almost). No more wobble, comfortable holding bike up when stopped for pretty much any time needed.

Was going to clean them up, and paint them but she wont let me take them off for now as she likes ride a lot more now (that I have stopped wobbling).

You can't go any more than inch and a half as it will interfere with side panel after that. Will post pics if anyone interested.

Take care, Trev
