So far they are great, a lot better than the ME880's were. Im turning 62,000 miles tomorrow and the bike rides like a dream. I think I'll keep it a little longer.

http://s2.images.proboards.com/shocked.gif Geez ya have more mi. than me! http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

I'm running Avon Venoms this time. I have 4500 mi on the rear and still has 7/32 left that beats anything I've had so far. I'm glad to hear that your ride is still running like dream. Thats a good looking Bike, and you take good care of it. ;) wouldn't suprise me to see you run it to 150,000 or more. http://s2.images.proboards.com/cool.gif

<marquee>:D Keep smiling, and keep Jack Frost up north a little longer! ::)</marquee>

Weve had a good frost yesterday and today, I think were going for a short ride in a hour or two, as soon as it warms up a bit.
I ended up putting 19,200 miles on my rear ME880, but It was so worn you could see the air inside. Ive put on about 10,000 miles so far this summer, and will probably get another 1000 or so before I park it for the season.

http://s2.images.proboards.com/shocked.gif That's totally amazing! I've never got more than 9,000 out of a Metz. Bias tire, and only 7,000 out of the radials. I had a set of 404's on the 02 but they both(ft & rear) were worn out in around 6,000 mi. But I do change my tires when they get around 2/32 http://s2.images.proboards.com/cool.gif I've only got a little over 6,000 on this year as I hate running in the rain :-[ and this year was the worst I remember in quite a few years. http://s2.images.proboards.com/tongue.gif

::) Guess I'm becoming an Ole Candyass in my later years Steve! http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

Where abouts is he playing, Larry?
The weather was perfect and a few of us went for a good ride, then stopped for some wings at Hooters.

Does your son play hockey Larry or did he go up for the Flyers/Leafs game?? I have my first Hershey Bears game of the year next Sunday... can't wait.
Steve, I don't know how long you've been in that area or if you are a hockey fan but I remember a team from the late 80's that the Bears used to play against, The Newmarket Saints. They were a farm team for the Leafs before they moved to St. John.

He doesn't play professionally, he has a buddy in Ottawa and went up to see the senators? and some other team play. Then hes going to Toronto to see the hockey hall of fame.
Brett, I know that he goes to Wilkes-Barre and Binghamton NY to see games.

Although I'm not a big hockey fan, I do remember the Saints playing here years ago. I can't remember the details as to why they left here, but I remember going to one of the games with a neighbour.

I have a brother inlaw that lives in Ottawa, and loves the Senators. That would have been quite a trip to make from Pa. Im guessing at about ten hours.
