The only reason I put any air in at all was for two up riding, I was bottoming out on occasion. 15# cured that, and damping left at stock (#2 I think).

I'm a pretty good size fellow too, and settings vary by load....
Solo 17-20 psi and rebound at 3 (I like the ride a little stiff) ;)
2-up 20-25 " " " " 3
2-up loaded down for a trip 25-30 psi and rebound at 4

1700nomad, solo 10-12 and damp = 2, with wife and gear 18-20 damp = 3 or 4 depending on road.

15 pounds in the shocks and setting #2. I'm 205 pounds and ride solo. Nice ride, not too hard, not too soft.

I weigh 190 lbs and ride solo almost all the time with settings at 20 lbs air pressure and #3 setting on the shocks. Mostly personal preference on how you like your ride and the roads your on.

I have it set with around 20-30 lbs. and #4. Especially when riding 2-up. While on our trip with the bike really loaded down, I need to add more are, yet.

I set my rebound at 3 and I could feel my kidneys doin' a little snap whenever I hit a bump so thats going back to #2. Or...a retorque on my kidney mount.
Also, set my shocks at 10 when I was deciding where I wanted them and then left for the summer. When I got back home, the first thing I wanted to do was ride again so decided to check the shocks first and whoops, zero pressure! Do they all leak?

No Putt, they shouldn't leak. At least min never has.

I ride on #2 rebound, but I've been monkeying around with the pressure. I'm currently at 15 lbs. BTW, I weigh 185. I set the rebound to #4 when my wife rides w/ me.

Mine have leaked down over a period of a few months or over the winter, but not enough to warrant any action as of yet.
