View Full Version : Pics of your Nomad with other toys
I was taking some pics today and came up with this .....
Many of you have other "toys" that I have read about over the years....post up some pics of your Nomads with some of your other "toys"....
I call these our midlife crisis pics....though I have had a bike of some sort for many years now, some will recall that about a month ago my wife wanted a convertible.....after some mods and holes in the hood (the kids left the house when I started putting the Roush scoop on) here are the results...our two main toys right now....

Just can't get a pic with both toys in it without Photoshop. When we're not on the road we're on the water. (A little work is mixed in there also.)

Here is my new Nomad. Picked it up this past Friday in the rain. Love this bike. I just sold my 2008 Yamaha Raider. Huge difference in bikes and the comfort level is a world of difference.

No I don't drive it, it is worth way to much to take the chance of wrapping it around a tree. It is all there though. It has the original 358ci SB2 engine and Tex T10 4 speed geared for Talladega. It has been wind tunnel tested to 175mph and is capable of doing 200mph on the straight at Talladega. The dyno paperwork showed 823hp at time of testing back in 2001. When it starts, the ground rumbles, and people come out of the wood work to see and here this legend of a car.

Now look what yawl Southern boys have done.
Lasse's speaking Suthern.
(Just in case) Lasse, I'm teasing the members that live in the southeast US, not you. "You all" is a colloquialism mostly heard in those states. "Youse guys" would come from our "Yankee" contingent - particularly NY and NJ.
I DO notice that your town is in southern-ish Sweden-- about equivalent to our Carolina states. Hmm, I wonder.
Your English is great, particularly since the only Swedish I know is:
"Vem aer Du?"
"Jag aer Doeden."
(from "The Seventh Seal" by Ingmar Bergman)
btw-- my toy is the next project bike I attempt to restore (I just got it): a 2005 Victory Touring Cruiser
See what you've started Todd? http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif I've got to get RUby Earl and Lucy together for a shot.....coming soon.

Either of those would work well for me.
